Shark fishing on Panama City Beach is a blast!
Shark fishing “Last Local” style means sight fishing! Nothing compares to watching sharks circle the boat in shallow water, anticipating a cast and hookup!

Targeting the bulls of St. Andrews Bay made for an incredible day. Six bull redfish were boated between the two anglers. They each caught their biggest fish to date, with the largest measuring 32 inches in length!
Our beaches are no doubt a virtual fishing aquarium! This is definitely my favorite time of year on Panama City Beach. Sight fishing is at it’s peak with gin clear water and a host of beach marauders. Game on!
If speckled trout is on your fishing hit list. Now is the time to target them with Last Local Guide Service. The flats of Panama City Beach are on fire with an incredible trout bite right now!
The target was blacktip sharks and they did not disappoint. At times we had up to six sharks circling the boat at one time. It’s always an incredible sight to see these fish cruising in six to eight feet of water, daring you to cast them a live bait.
Alan Kan and friends got in on some awesome speckled trout fishing! The guys caught around 20 trout, 6 of which made the mark. Double and triple hook-ups made it even more of a blast!
Jeffery Register and Cory Krivanec of Gulfport, Mississippi absolutely whacked the fish this morning. Cory caught his biggest redfish to date, a 33″ bull. It was one of four bull reds caught today. They also caught their limit of 30 mackerel in short time by casting plugs into the frenzy!
Sheepshead were on the hitlist and were feeding heavy. John and his son Blake landed five over-slot bull redfish between them! I heard “Man, my arms are tired!” several times as John and his son fought one redfish after another.
It was all smiles when father and son, John Sr & John Jr hooked up with the heavyweight bull redfish of Panama City Beach. They both caught their largest ever redfish with me on Thursday afternoon.
Tammy & Kelly made the trip from Michigan to visit the Worlds Most Beautiful Beaches for some spring fun in the sun. Sheepshead and Spanish Mackerel fell one after another to this formatible duo.
