A recent “scouting” trip with Heath Anderson resulted in an amazing day of sight fishing on Panama City Beach. Rough surf on the beach in the morning forced us to fish offshore. Once a few miles out, we witnessed Amberjack blowing up on the surface. We started casting topwater lures to them and caught several. What a sight to see! We also boated a nice cobia that crushed a live pinfish, right at the boat. The wind eventually calmed down and we headed back to the beach. Once settled in, we sight cast to Tarpon, Jack Crevalle, Sharks and monster King Mackerel. Our beaches are no doubt a virtual fishing aquarium! This is definitely my favorite time of year!
